Thanks to thigh lift aesthetic surgery, people can eliminate the disproportions in their own body and have a proportional one. It is possible to straighten the hip with prostheses, fat injections and various fillings.
If the hips are too flat, have a saggy appearance, look flat due to genetic problems, it is an indication that people should benefit from thigh lift aesthetics. Fat injection is the most preferred and safe procedure. Prostheses and fillings are not preferred because they do not fit everyone. Injecting the fat taken from the waist or abdomen into the hip helps the body to have a completely positive appearance. Thigh Lift offers positive effects on the body of the person. It is possible to correct excessively flat or sagging thigh with this procedure.
Thigh Lift is a plastic surgery operation that women with drooping, small or flat thigh demand more often. In the thigh image, especially women emphasize that the back of the trousers is low. There may even be people who prefer special silicone underwear to make their thigh look upturned. In the preliminary evaluation of patients who come with thigh complaints, it is determined whether the patient's thigh is deformed or sagging, and treatments are applied accordingly. Thigh area operations are an operation that men prefer less than women. The thigh is lifted by using different methods. People who have a flat buttocks appearance that is deformed due to genetic factors, weight gain or loss, or due to sagging that cannot resist gravity due to aging, can get rid of these problems with surgery in the modern times. Buttocks aesthetic surgery can be performed with three different methods. These operations that can be provided with fat injection, prosthesis, and fillers; It helps the person to achieve the aesthetic appearance they want and to have self-confidence.
Among these methods, the most preferred and safe method is known as fat injection. In fat injection, especially since the fat taken from the abdomen and waist is injected into the thigh, the person has the chance to get rid of the unwanted fat at the same time, and on the other hand, she gets a curvy and proportional appearance with the body lines becoming more pronounced. Since it can be observed that a certain amount of fat melts up to 1.5 - 2 years after this operation, a second operation is usually recommended in order to extend the time and make it more permanent. The duration of the operation may vary depending on the amount of fat to be collected and the liposuction method to be applied. The operation, which lasts for an average of 2-3 hours, is performed under general anesthesia and then the patient must stay in the hospital for 1 night. Since the fats are collected from the body by the liposuction method, the patient should use a corset for an average of 4 weeks. There may be mild pain that can be relieved with painkillers after the surgery. Patients can return to their normal lives within 3-5 days. It is the method of injecting the fat cells taken from the patient's own tissues into the patient's hip. Fat from the patient's waist or abdomen may be utilised for this . With the application of liposuction to the hip, excess fat is removed. In this way, the legs will appear longer, while the thigh will look more voluminous and stylish. Buttock fat injection is not a 100% permanent method. Depending on the patient's body chemistry, 40% to 60% of the injected fat becomes permanent in 1 or 2 years. If necessary, a second session of fat injection can be done after 1-2 years. After this second session, a higher permanence is achieved.
It is the method in which sterile silicone implants are used to shape the thigh. As long as the prosthesis is not removed in patients with silicone prosthesis, the thigh is permanent as desired. Buttock prosthesis operations are under general anesthesia and take about 2 hours. The patient can return to work life after 1 week. A pocket is created inside the thigh muscle with a surgical incision made from the area where the two thigh halves meet. Then, prostheses are placed in these created pouches. Buttock prosthesis operation is an operation without a trace, that is, the trace is in the hidden area. It is a camouflaged scar that cannot be seen even with a G-string. The silicones used in the buttock prosthesis are harder than the silicones used in the breast prosthesis. After the thigh prosthesis surgery, the patient may have trouble sitting and standing in the first months. Hygiene is very important after thigh prosthesis surgery because of the surgical area. Surgical incisions also have a high risk of inflammation. In addition, as in all prosthetic surgeries, the post-prosthesis capsule and prosthesis body tissues are limited after this operation.
Sometimes the patient has sagging buttock or even looseness. These patients are usually those who have lost excess weight. Thigh lift techniques are used in such patients. With this technique, the thigh is lifted up. The most scars are in this operation. There will be an incision scar in the waist area, which will remain in the underwear. It is recommended to use a corset for about 4 weeks after all these operations.
The female body consists of curved structures to a certain extent, while the waist area is curved inward, the thigh should protrude outward (same on the breasts). It is absolutely necessary to remove the excess regional fat in the inner thigh area with liposuction. 80%-90% of the patients who want to shape the buttocks generally have dimples on the sides of the buttocks and a projection (curved image) insufficiency in the upper sides of the back. For this purpose, oil injection is required in these areas. In people with insufficient body fat, thigh prosthesis is combined with the same procedure. There are many placement techniques of the buttock prosthesis (although it is rarely used under the membrane, the most commonly used method is intramuscular). It is used for this purpose in synthetic fillings like Aquafilling.
Thigh Aesthetics, which is a painless and scarless surgery, will be much more efficient when the prerequisites are applied. It is among the things that the patient should stop smoking before the operations.
At the same time, it will be beneficial to stop using blood thinners, herbal solutions and medications with a weakening effect, and act by following the doctor's advice. Painkillers such as aspirin, vermidone and apranax; anti-depressants are a must. Thigh aesthetics is one of the methods in which the use of anesthesia can vary according to the procedure performed.
During the gluteal prosthesis procedure, general anesthesia method is used because prosthesis will be attached to the hip part of the patient. With this method, a prosthesis will be added to certain parts of the patient's hip muscles, the hip will be straightened, and the prosthesis will be placed around the hip in a healthy way.
You will be held in the recovery room until the anesthesiologists decide that you can be taken to your own room. While in this room you may need to be given oxygen, your heart will be monitored, and your vascular access will be kept open. Here we will start taking the first steps to keep your pain under control. Visits to the recovery room are prohibited in order to protect the privacy of other patients and to reduce the risk of infection.
The device that keeps your vascular access open after surgery will stay in your arm for around 48 hours. This setup is very important. It will allow us to administer fluids, antibiotics, and other medications, as well as blood supply to your body if needed. Following surgery, your entire lower extremity (thigh and calf) will be covered in an elastic bandage. You will have a little tube inserted into the surgical area. A drain is joined to this tube. Its goal is to stop blood from accumulating around the hip. The tube will be removed 24 hours after the surgery and the bandage 48 hours later. Doing light exercises to increase your mobility right after the surgery will help prevent circulation problems and strengthen your muscles.
To make sure that your airways are free of mucus (phlegm) following surgery, it is crucial to run your lungs. When you yawn or sigh (nearly every hour), you often take long breaths, frequently unknowingly. However, when you are in pain, drowsy due to anesthesia, or the medications you take due to pain, your normal breathing pattern may have change and you may begin to breathe shallowly. In this situation, a coercive spirometer will be used by the service nurses to assist you every day.
Pain control will start from you. Since there is no objective test to measure how you feel, you should help the team by informing about what the pain looks like, where it is located, and how it changes when it changes. Sometimes the pain is constant, sometimes it is intermittent. It can be sharp, burning, aching, or throbbing. You should also describe the intensity of the pain.
Patient-controlled analgesia is a system that sends painkillers to your body when you need it.
It is an electrically powered pump driven by a microprocessor. This pump is connected to the catheter or epidural tube in the vein and is adjusted by the anesthesiologist to provide a continuous flow of painkillers. The system also allows you to control this flow. If you feel you need more medicine, you can immediately press the button on the remote control. You don't have to worry about taking too much medicine. The pump is programmed to reject your request for more medication when you reach a predetermined limit. If you still feel pain despite reaching this limit, inform your nurse. Anesthesiology will be contacted as soon as possible.
After 24-48 hours after surgery, your pain should begin to decrease. During this period, your activity will also increase. During this period, oral painkillers will help you relax even more.
Cold therapy will be given to you in the form of an ice pack to reduce pain and swelling. These ice packs will be provided by the nurses.
The tube placed in your surgical site will be removed 24 hours after the surgery. Following this, the assistants will sit on the edge of the bed and change the position. Dizziness or nausea and vomiting that may occur during this time should not worry you. You will then be raised to your feet with the help of a walker or crutches. The first walk can be difficult. Do not forget that the hip area can be painful and swelling. However, you will feel that you are walking more comfortably with each passing day. Unless you are told otherwise, you should walk with your feet touching the ground. It is not possible to give your full body weight to that hip because you are using support.
Surgical site care
Most patients have swelling in the operated leg after hip replacement. Although the amount of swelling varies from patient to patient, this is usually normal. During the first 4 weeks after surgery, you should minimize the time you spend sitting. Because this situation increases swelling. The periods of walking and the periods of raising the operated leg should follow each other. The wrist should be above the level of the heart when the leg is elevated.
After full recovery, you can engage in light sports activities. Walking, cycling, swimming, golf are the most suitable sports activities. Sports involving heavy loads and impacts such as running, jumping, skiing are not suitable.
During your recovery, previously mundane tasks will require special attention. Wearing socks, which is the most difficult, normally requires you to bend more than 90°. This is not a highly desirable position. For male patients, knee-length socks are recommended. For women, pantyhose is easier to wear. In fact, two long strips to be sewn to the edge of the sock will be more convenient for you.
Tips for Housework
The vast majority of patients can have safe sexual intercourse after hip replacement. Patients with impaired sexual function due to pain and stiffness in their hips before the surgery usually find that the pain in their hips is gone after the surgery and they can move better. It is generally safe to have sexual intercourse about 6 weeks after surgery. This time allows time for the incision and the muscles around the hip to heal. Precautions for total hip replacement (do's and don'ts) should be considered in sexual intercourse as well as in all daily activities.

A buttock/thigh lift, commonly referred to as a thighplasty, tightens and elevates sagging skin in the thigh and buttock region to improve contour.
While some effects may become visible right away, the majority of patients experience a discernible improvement by six weeks. After a thigh lift, the results can continue to become better for up to a year.
It's typical to feel some thigh soreness in the first week following surgery. Additionally, you'lnotice bruising and swelling near the incision sites. Most of the time, oral pain medication can be used to treat the pain.
Although targeted exercises can be used to tighten muscles, surgery is the only way to remove extra skin.
The lines of the inner and outer thighs can be made thinner through surgically removing extra skin and tissue during a thigh lift.
Skin quality is enhanced both in terms of appearance and feel after a thigh lift. Even though there will be some noticeable scarring, the overall results are durable as long as you keep your weight constant and stay physically healthy. It is normal for your body to lose some firmness as you become older.
The scar from an inner thigh lift will either resemble a vertical straight line running straight down the leg from the groin or it will resemble the shape of a T, with the top line of the T hidden in the crease where the thigh meets the groin and the remaining line running vertically down the inside of the inner thigh.
After a thigh lift, you will be allowed to sit, but it is not advised that you do so for extended amounts of time during the first week of rehabilitation.
Major surgery is required for a thigh lift, which tightens the skin on the upper thighs.
Most regular activities can be resumed. Early on in rehabilitation, short walks and easy activity are suggested. As you heal, the swelling will continue to go down, but it could take up to six months for it to completely go down. Most patients can go back to work in two to three weeks, depending on their line of work.
Your compression clothing will be worn continuously for a whole month. In order to keep pressure off your sutures, you cannot sit for two weeks. Our patients are permitted to stroll around the house after one week, but driving is prohibited for at least three. You can resume your typical activities after around six weeks.
